Sapa Trekking

Upon arrival at Lao Cai Railway station in the early morning, our awaiting guide will pick you up and take you for breakfast at a local restaurant before transferring you to Silver Waterfall. An ascent to the base of the waterfall will enable you to explore the surrounding landscape. This is a famous spot and is regularly visited by monks to pray.

Continuing our journey, we will drive a further 3km to Tram Ton Pass, the highest road in Vietnam at approximately 2,000m above sea level. At this height you will feel a drop in temperature but the views are truly stunning, and you will have the opportunity to stretch your legs, explore and take photographs. A further three-kilometer drive will take you to the start point of your next walk, a descent through the jungle to the Love Waterfall & Golden Stream. It is so nice and romantic, located in national park with old trees, have a short walk to enjoy the spectacular streams, possible swim in there.

Keep going to Heaven gate in Vietnam which is highest pass in Vietnam. Enjoy fresh air and cool windy in here, you will feel same like on heaven with cloud is flying on bottom of the valley. Take a car to O Quy Ho village for trekking down to beautiful green tea hill, passing through the green tea and hunting beautiful pictures and then walking on a dirt trail to characteristic rice and corn fields that give Sapa its reputation. Visiting a local house in Sin Chai village to explore their daily life, this village is a home to great weavers of hemp and indigo who use traditional techniques to craft their tribal costumes. Then, transfer to Sapa town.

After breakfast, our private car takes you to Sa Xeng village for a trek up hill to Hau Thao of the Black H’mongminority, the village is still less traveled. We will visit one of the local family to get to know more their culture and daily life.

In the afternoon, you will keep trekking up and down hills to get to Su Pan village of Black Hmong and Red Dao people. This is a poor village because of lacking soil for growing. From there, you can see Muong Hoa valley, one of the four most beautiful valleys in the north of Vietnam. The 15km long valley attracts people with full of terraced fields. Check in homestay and learn daily activities of the locals. After dinner, you will spend a lovely night in the village with fresh air and peaceful atmosphere.

Rise early in the morning to enjoy the daily life of the ethnic minorities in the village. After breakfast, trek down to Thanh Kim village, left largely untouched even amidst the rapid rate of modernization going around the countryside. This beautiful Sapa jewel is home to the Red Dao, Hmong, and Kinh tribes. Come noon, you will have your lunch on top of a hill overlooking Ban Ho Village, your next stop of the excursion. Follow the gentle streams of Muong Bo river towards Ban Ho Village on a light trek of your own. The route leading to Ban Ho is winding and could get slightly challenging. Ban Ho offers a breathtaking view of fertile fields, at least 3 majestic waterfalls and the quaint forest surrounding of the village. It is home to the Hmong, Dao, and Tay tribes with the Tay making up most of the village population.

In the late afternoon, our car will take you back to Lao Cai station for overnight train to Hanoi.

Arrive at Hanoi station at 05:00 AM. Our driver will pick you up and take you back to your hotel.
