Sapa Trekking Tour includes a 3-day trek through the hills and valleys in the Sapa region, home to many ethnic minorities groups all wearing their traditional and colourful attire. Average walking time for each day is around 6 hours, passing through H’mong, Day, Tho, Tay, Nhang, and Red Dao communities. Two nights are spent in these minority villages so be warned, you will have to do without some modern comforts on this one.
After breakfast and a short rest at a local restaurant, you will start the first trek. You will walk on a small path down the valley to the Muong Hoa River along Y Linh Ho valley and from here lead to the Black H’mong in Lao Chai village – one of the biggest minority groups in the Sapa area. They are proud of their culture and keep their traditions and way of living. Continue to Ta Van village (1.200 m) to visit Zay people. Zay is a fairly small minority group of about 38.000 people who live mainly in the mountains in Northwest Vietnam. The development has meant that some of their old customs have been lost but many women still wear traditional shirts with a purple, blue or green color. You will have dinner and overnight in homestay.
Approx: 10 km of trekking with about 5 or 6 hours, Over 30 km of driving from Lao Cai to Sapa with about over 1 hour.
After breakfast, take the road to GiangTa Chai village of the Red Dzao minority. Travel along the paths between terraces and through bamboo forests. Then, visit Silver waterfall and suspension Rattan Bridge, continue to see the village people and then cross Muong Hoa River and travel up to the mountain to visit the last village of the trek
