An 10- day journey takes photographers from charming Hanoi, known as the Paris of Asia, to the breathtaking Halong Bay, with its majestic limestone peaks, and on to Sapa, with a unique combination of colorful cultures and the fascinating customs of the hill-tribe people in the North. Non-stop using camera for shooting and recording the amazing rice terrace fields as picturesque at Mu Cang Chai and Tu Le where bring you deeply impression for nature and human hand creation.

Upon your arrival, Vietnam Photography Tour start by the images of Hanoi streets through your camera lens until evening when you sit for inspired Water Puppet Show. In the evening, we will all meet for a delicious Vietnamese meal at a gourmet restaurant. Afterwards, we head out for a Hanoi by Night photo tour, taking in the Old Quarter streets, Hoan Kiem Lake and Ho Chi Minh’s Mausoleum
Begin your tour with a 5am pickup from your central Hanoi hotel, you will need, stroll along Long Bien Bridge to shoot your first landscape shots, with the dramatic city skyline in the background.
Next, head to Long Bien market, Hanoi’s biggest wet market, and busy Dong Xuan market, where you’ll have a chance to shoot everyday scenes and snap candid shots of local workers, shoppers, and families. Follow your guide through the winding streets and alleyways of Hanoi’s Old Quarter, stopping to practice street photography and portrait photography techniques and we’ll capture all the action as elderly Hanoians practice t’ai chi and aerobics, or even ‘laughing yoga’.
We’ll then enjoy breakfast together near St. Joseph’s Cathedral. After breakfast, it’s time to head out for Tho Ha, a village renowned for its charming architecture and production of rice paper pancakes. Tho Ha retains the mud-brick houses and winding, narrow alleyways typical of the old Red River Delta, among which residents spread out their rice paper to dry. We return in late afternoon. After dinner, we head out to Hanoi Railway Station to catch the overnight sleeper train to Lao Cai.
Upon your arrival in Lao Cai city at dawn, our local guide will welcome you with a board of your name and our private car takes us up the short and winding route to Y Ty – another must-know place among photographers in Vietnam.
Listed among best mystical destinations in Asia, Y Ty is remote village in the northern mountainous province of Lao Cai. Thrillist described Y Ty as a landscape sitting atop Vietnam’s highest plateau, offering spectacular views of cloud-reaching mountains and yellow rice patty fields.
After breakfast, you will head to Sapa, where starts a nice trek down to Muong Hoa valley for a nice captivation of layers of stepped rice fields, streams and local villages of Black Hmong & Zay ethnic groups.Our driver pick you up in Ta Van village & drive back to Sapa town.
Enjoy fullday to visit the highest mountain of Indochina Fansipan Mountain at 3,143 metres by cable car. Reach the altitute of 2800 meters, you have a good time to see the view and take photos, visit pagoda the spiritual destinations and trek up to 600 steps you will reach the peak of Fansipan – the Roof of Indochina.
It’s an early start today to head west for Mu Cang Chai. On the way, we cross the legendary O Quy Ho Pass. and we’ll grab some epic landscapes over the remote province of Lai Chau. The road to Mu Cang Chai offers plenty of scenic spots, but we’ll also be stopping to capture local tribal life. We encounter H’mong, Thai, Tay and Dzao people along the way.
In the afternoon we head out to a couple of incredible locations to shoot the golden rice terraces in full splendour, and also capture some local farmers beginning to work the fields.
After breakfast, you will have the whole day to take photograph of terrace rice field in Vietnam. In the morning, take a short drive from Mu Cang Chai to Ba Nha, where you can take beautiful hike up to mountain for the most impressive rice field in Mu Cang Chai. Just few steps uphill, you will feel like in the totally different world that you can easily spend the whole morning to take photo of amazing rice field, scenery and hill tribe people in their village.
After lunch and relax, we will take photo in another beautiful venue: La Pan Tan terrace rice field and surrounded area. This will be one of the best photos shooting on the whole trip.
Today we head further into the countryside towards Tu Le’s concentric ‘rice bowl’ paddies. We also cross the Khau Pha Pass, one of northwest Vietnam’s most spectacular journeys. You’ll then explore some remote villages near Tu Le, where we’ll be meeting people from the Tay and H’mong tribes and shooting more golden sunsets among the paddies.
This morning we drive down from Tu Le to Nghia Lo. On the way, we will stop in Thanh Son – Phu Tho province to visit the hills of tea cultivation. You have a time for taking photos with hill of tea and enjoy a cup of tea. We’ll then transfer to the ancient village of Duong Lam near Hanoi, the place so called “Hoi An of the Red River Delta” as still preserve many hundred-year-old houses. It will be your unique experience as you walk along tiny ancient alleys, visit Communal House in MongPhu hamlet.
Arriving at Hanoi train station, you will be met and taken to a local hotel for breakfast before transferring to Halong Bay. We start at 8.00 A.M for the 3,5 hour drive (170 km) through the Red River Delta, which offers plenty of chances for taking photos of Vietnamese farmers tilling the vast green paddy fields. At half way, we’ll have a visit to a handicraft workshop with fine clothes, embroidered paintings, stone statuettes and all kinds of gems mined in Vietnam such as star rubies or sapphires… Our destination is the World Heritage Site of Ha Long Bay. The bay offers some 3000 mountain islands and islets towering in the Gulf of Tonkin in the East Vietnam Sea.
Upon arrival, you’ll be welcomed on board our cruise and treated with wine and fresh local seafood. As our junk gliding further into the tranquility of Ha Long Bay amid the towering mountain cliffs and on the emerald green water, you’ll have relaxing time combining the fine tastes of the wine and the freshness of Ha Long Bay. You then explore the Surprising Sung Sot cave which still reserves much of the amazing original stalactites and stalagmites. Overnight on board the junk in the wild of Ha Long Bay.
Wake up in the morning to the calming sound of the waves crashing on the nearby islands. You enjoy a morning coffee and watch the world going by in the bay. Sitting on the upper deck and enjoy the breath-taking beauty of the rocky islands rising from the crystal-clear water of the bay. The quiet is almost eerie; we can hear birds singing, cicadas chirping ashore and the gentle lapping of the waves against our boat, the perfect soundtrack to accompany the fresh air and gentle breeze. Our junk starts cruising back while the brunch will be served.
Check out and arrive at harbor, we will drive back to Hanoi.
