Itinerary

Day 1Arrive in Bangkok

Upon arrival, meet our driver/tour guide and transfer to hotel. Rest of the day is free at leisure.

Late afternoon, after freshening up, take a half-day trip to discover one of the least-known-by-foreigners street areas in Bangkok, in Bangrak District. Once in the area, sample some local street food snacks while the guide explains how to use local modes of transportation like tuk tuk or local buses. Cool down with a local Thai iced coffee “Kafae Boran” or frozen fruit shake.After that, hop on a tuk tuk to River City Shopping Complex Pier and take a ferry-crossing to Khlongsan District to explore the local market in the area. End the day’s walking tour at the Jam Factory, a small industrial-design complex with a modern book café and a unique furniture shop by a famous Thai artist. Located in the complex is The Never Ending Summer Restaurant, a cool industrial-style Thai restaurant with authentic Thai tastes. Enjoy a nice dinner in a cozy atmosphere (client pay on their own for dinner). After dinner, transfer back to the hotel.

Day 2Bangkok City Tour

An early start will get you to Wat Pho in time to experience the monk’s early morning chanting ritual (chanting starts at 09.00 Hrs). After this uplifting and often private experience, visit the temple grounds and the famous 45-metre reclining Buddha.

Continue to The Grand Palace, Thailand’s most important landmark, where you will be awed by the grandeur and majesty of the building and its throne halls. Then, of course, marvel at the mysterious Emerald Buddha, the most revered Buddha image in Thailand. Delicious lunch is served at the delightful Never Ending Summer, a Thai rustic restaurant, situated by Chao Phraya River. (client pay on their own for lunch).

After lunch, board a long-tail boat sailing up the majestic Chao Phraya river before entering the Khlong that takes us away from the normal tourist trail. Inside the network of Khlongs guest will stop at Wat Khun Chan which is an interesting temple area rarely visited by tourists. Crossing a small footbridge leads into the old alleys where a cold coffee can be enjoyed before entering Wat Paknam or the white stupa with a hidden museum.Back in the boat and continue on a beautiful part of the Khlong with a mix of old wooden houses and new modern mansions until reaching an orchid and fruit farm where guest will have time to walk around and see the many types of orchids on display. On the way back to Saphan Taksin pier, a stop will be made to feed the holy catfish in the Khlong.

Day 3Damnoensaduak Floating Market – Suan Sampran

A 120 km drive to the most colorful Floating Market in Thailand. Pass through the largest source of salt production in Thailand along the roadside of the highway. At Damnoen Saduak, visit the gardener’s house; see how the sugar is being made right from the coconut tree. And take the long-tailed speedboat to the main part market. See a fascinating Thai way of life from the ancient time which is still widely practiced in this area. A chance to try various kinds of exotic Thai fruits and choices of Thai handicrafts are available at the spot.

Later on, continue to Suan Sampran which is a family-run eco cultural destination since 1962 in Nakornpathom just an hour from Bangkok. Throughout the years and 3 generations of family management, we have always been true to our philosophy of the traditional Thai ways. Visitors can experience authentic Thai hospitality, sample traditional Thai cuisine with organic ingredients from our farm, stay in an antique Thai house, relax in our Patom Organic Spa, enjoy cultural workshops and perhaps visit our local farmers who supply organic products to our property. Located on a 35-acre plot by the Tajinriver, Suan Sampran is ideal for a relaxing getaway from the city with eco cultural activities for families or groups.

Day 4Bangkok – Ayutthaya

Today we visit AYUTTHAYA, the former capital of Thailand for 417 years.

Upon arrival, a tuk tuk “Kermit” will make you discover the magnificent ruins of ancient temples in the Ayutthaya Historical Park: Wat Mahathat, Watyai Chaimongkol, Wat Phra Si Sanphet, Viharn Phra Mongkhon Bophit and Wat Chaiwatthanaram. Next to continuation to Bang Pa In Summer Palace built by King Rama IV at the time of the growing European influence in Thailand. Admire the building of Italian style and surround temples.

Day 5Bangkok – Chiang Mai – Khantoke Dinner

Transfer to airport for your flight to the northern capital of Thailand “Chiang Mai”. Upon arrival in Chiang Mai, you will be met and greeted by our guide for your transfer to your hotel.

After checking in at the hotel, travel thirty minutes by vehicle north of Chiang Mai city to a long-tail boat dock, where you will take a leisurely stroll around the grounds with a herbal garden. Then board a long-tail boat and enjoy a 30-minute cruise along the rural Mae Ping River. Along the river banks, you will see traditional wooden houses and modern residences. Arrive at a boat landing and walk for about 10 minutes from the landing to Waroros market fresh food market for a visit, experiencing the Northern Thai way of life. In the evening enjoy the famous dinner “Khantoke Dinner” known as the northern welcome dinner including hill tribe dancing.

Day 6Chiang Mai – Chiang Dao

After breakfast at the hotel, head towards Elephant Discovery Camp, passing the most beautiful route of Chiang Mai with fantastic local road and panoramic views. Upon arrival at the camp, you will receive instructions of the basic Elephant training from experienced trainers, use what you have learned to bond with your elephants and interact with them under the supervision of the trainer. Enjoy feeding, mud bathing and soaking up with your own elephant. Lunch at the camp.

After lunch, enjoy bareback riding passing the natural scenery of the hill. In the late afternoon, return back to Chiang Mai.

Note: The elephant activity is join-in.

Day 7Chiang Mai – Doi Suthep

Depart your hotel at 06.00 am, and arrive at the foot hill of Doi Suthep mountain, in time to buy offerings and join the locals during the daily alms giving ceremony. This is a serene Buddhist procession where dozens of monks walk barefoot through the street collecting food and everyday items.

Continue up the mountain to Wat Doi Suthep and climb the 309 steps of the Golden Naga staircase to reach its golden pagodas. After a visit to Doi Suthep, continue to discover one of the best-kept secret temples of Chiang Mai, Wat Palad, known as the Temple below the Temple. This temple is a significant element of the Chiang Mai area’s history with its temple grounds aged beyond 650 years old.

Next, proceed to Wat Umong, built in the 14th century, a heavily forested temple covered by moss and small plants offering a unique yet charming sense of natural decay. After a walk through its mysterious tunnels you reach the Viharn of the temple to experience your own private blessing ceremony. After that, enjoy this lovely day with a delicious bowl of Khao Soy. This famous Northern Thai dish is a combination of coconut cream, crispy noodles and plenty of spice that is sure to delight!

In the afternoon, continue to visit the Three Kings Monument, followed by Chiang Mai City Arts and Culture Center, located in an old building of elegant architectural design built in 1927. Standing on the location of a former royal hall, the building was used as the central administrative office of Phayap administrative unit of Siam, and later as the Provincial Hall of Chiang Mai.

Day 8Chiang Mai - Phuket

Breakfast at hotel and free at leisure till time transfer to airport for your flight departure to Phuket island. Arrive at Phuket airport, you are met and transferred to the hotel. Free at leisure.

Day 9Phuket - Phi Phi Island

After breakfast our driver pick you up to the pier for take join ferry to Phi Phi Island. Upon arrival at the pier you will meet with hotel staff, after that you have to take join long tail boat to your hotel. After check in free time on your own.

Day 10 - 11Phi Phi Island free

Breakfast at hotel, enjoy free time relaxing by the pool, getting a massage on the beach, or browsing the market shops.

Day 12Phi Phi Island - Phuket - Bangkok

After breakfast, free time until time to join ferry back to Phuket, upon arrival, find the driver at the pier and transfer to the airport to take the flight to Bangkok. On arrival meet driver then transfer to the hotel.

Day 13Bangkok departure

Day at leisure until to transfer to the airport to take flight to back to your country.
