First visit is Royal Palace, National Museum and Silver Pagoda placed in Royal Palace area, must-see in Phnom Penh.
Next visit is Wat Phnom – Set on top of a tree-covered knoll 27m high, Wat Phnom is the only hill in town. According to legend, the first pagoda on this site was erected in 1373 to house four statues of Buddha deposited here by the waters of the Mekong and discovered by a woman name Penh.
The tour continue with Tuol Sleng Genocide Museum, the former Security Prison 21 (S-21) and one of the most notorious sites of the Khmer Rouge regime. And then the Choueng Ek Memorial, also known as the Killing Fields, another important site in remembering Cambodia’s tragic history.
Back to Phnom Penh center to visit Russian Market – the most popular market among tourists and expats and probably the best place to pick up souvenirs. Drop off at your hotel.
After breakfast, you will meet our driver for transfer to Sihanouk Ville. It take around 6 hours. Stop en route for relax. Arrive in Sihanouk Ville pier and then take 45 minutes speed boat to Koh Rong Sanloem island.
Once a sleepy wilderness, Koh Rong Sanloem is emerging as an island destination with its white sand untouched beaches and clear waters.
After breakfast, tour guide will meet you at hotel and start snorkeling day tour. Expected activities:
– Enjoy full day in Koh Rong Saloem island with clean water and fresh air.
– Join in adventure trip to discover beautiful corals and various marine creatures
– Experience snorkeling easily under guide and take-care from certified English speaking diver.
Free at leisure on beach or your own arrangement.
After breakfast, transfer back by speed boat to Sihanouk Ville. And then, transfer to Tatai by private car. The journey take around 4 hours with 220 km long way.
Tatai is somewhere a little different in Cambodia. It’s located on the Tatai river at the feet of the Cardamom Mountains and is surrounded by jungle. On arrival, you’ll be taken to your lodge for check in. Spend the rest of the afternoon and evening at your leisure.
Today is for Tatai. Hop aboard a long tail boat from the bridge and enjoy the unspoilt jungle surroundings on a trip up-river through the mangroves to Tatai Waterfall. Wallowing in nature water and jungle before back to the hotel.
Tatai waterfall is a semi-natural site located in Ta Tai village, Ta Tai commune, Smach Meanchey district, about 20 kilometers east of Koh Kong provincial town along National Road 48. There are 84 families living in this area. They earn their living by fishing and hunting.
After breakfast, start a long trip by private vehicle to Battambang. It take around 8 hours. We will prepare lunch box for you during this day trip. Today, you will enjoy marvelous journey through Cardamom mountain with short stop here. Arrive in Battambang. Free at leisure.
Breakfast at the hotel: we will drive along the bank of Stueng Sangke towards ancient remains of Wat Ek Phnom. This morning you visit the striking hilltop pagoda of Phnom Sampeau. This massive limestone outcrop is dissected by a number of caves some more accessible than others, with some containing unexpected reminders of Cambodia’s history. During the Khmer Rouge era, some of the pagoda buildings were used as a prison and interrogation centre – victims were then pushed through a hole in the roof of a cave to fall to their deaths. After lunch you will drive to the village of Ksach Puoy on the banks of the Sangker River. As well as being home to many well preserved traditional Khmer wooden stilted homes, this area grows a variety of tropical fruits and after the rainy season farmers plant all kinds of vegetables along the fertile river banks, here you can learn about traditional agriculture – Phnom Banan, Battambong also a great opportunity to taste juicy oranges, sweet pineapples, and many other fruit… Not far from Ksach Puoy is Cambodia’s first vineyard – Prasat Phnom Banan Vineyard – you can pop in if you like, learn about producing wine in the tropics and of course enjoy a spot of wine tasting! A few kilometers further south you arrive at the well preserved 11th century mountaintop Angkorian temple of Phnom Banan. After climbing the 350+ steps you are treated to a wonderfully peaceful setting with superb views across the surrounding countryside, with small villages dotting the endless rice paddies, punctuated with the characteristic sugar palm trees – a wonderful sunset location. Overnight at the hotel in Battambang.
Today, you will enjoy one of the best way to discover Tonle Sap Lake by cruising along Sangke River to Tonle Sap Lake and Siem Reap. During boat trip, you have a chance to see local life and floating villages across the river and Tonle Sap Lake bank. The boat trip will take from 6 to 8 hours depends on water level. Upon arrival in Siem Reap, transfer to your hotel.
Around 8:00 am, our local tour guide will meet you at the hotel to start full-day exploration of Angkor Complex. After short transfer, we will reach Angkor Wat – the world’s largest religious monument with 402 acres (163 ha) of ancient Hindu-Buddhist architecture.
From Angkor Wat, continue the trip to Angkor Thom where stone figures greet you at the ancient city’s monumental southern gates. Inside Angkor Thom, stroll towards Bayon—identified by a series of smiling faces etched into its upper terrace and central peak. Before concluding your visit to Angkor Thom, explore the famous Terrace of the Leper King and the Terrace of the Elephants.
Next, enjoy lunch at your own expense before visiting Ta Prohm—a mystifying temple that is being overtaken by Cambodia’s lush jungle landscape. Finally, revel in sunset at lovely Pre Rup—a temple built in dedication to the Hindu god Shiva in Phnom Bakkeng Hill—before returning to your hotel for the evening.
Followed by the breathtaking drive up the mountain, explore the abundant greenery and Kulen Waterfall. Take a dip if you wish, or sit back and watch the local families relish in their sacred homeland. Make your way up a bit further to the River of a Thousand Lingas, a gorgeous river with sophisticated carvings covering its floor. Get a blessing the Cambodian way with the Holy Water from this sacred river.
Move up to the tip of the mountain to discover the beautiful Pagoda and its world-famous Reclining Buddha at rest.
Day at leisure until to transfer to the airport to take the flight back to your country.
