Alternative option if you don’t want to visit President Hochiminh’s complex: Transfer to visit and learn about more than 1000 year old history ofThang Long Imperial Citadel. The royal enclosure was first built during the Lý dynasty(1010) and subsequently expanded by the Trần, Lêand finally the Nguyễn dynasty. It remained the seat of the Vietnamese court until 1810, when the Nguyễn dynastychose to move the capital to Huế. The ruins roughly coincide with the Hanoi Citadel today.The central sector of the imperial citadel was listed in UNESCO’s World Heritage Siteon July 31, 2010 at its session in Brazil, as “The Central Sector of the Imperial Citadel of Thăng Long – Hanoi.
We continue our tour by visiting the Temple of Literature – a temple to Confucius; this is well-known as Vietnam’s first University built in the tenth century.
After having lunch at a nice restaurant, After lunch time you enjoy a drive out to the outskirt of Hanoi to visit Museum of Ethnology where you can not only study about the history of Vietnam’s ethnic groups but also South East Asia’s. It is well-known as one of the ten most interesting museums in Asia voted by viewers of Tripadvisor.com.
Enjoy an hour Cyclo trip around HoanKiemlake and the Old Quarter which is known as the 36 streets and guilds with ancient buildings and narrow streets. From these streets, thousands of traditional things have been sold for hundreds years. Every street was named according to the specific thing the businesses living there sell, for example Silver Street, Rice Street, Shoes street, etc.
At the end of the day, you can enjoy the famous traditional water puppet show in Thang Long Theater where you will have a chance to experience an overview of daily life in Vietnam’s rural areas in dramatic form. Back to the hotel and overnight in Hanoi.

Day 3Hanoi – Sapa hill tribe villages (B/L/D)

Depart from Hanoi at 7:00 a.m. Drive further up to Sapa. In the afternoon, you will take time to ride the longest non-stop three-rope cable car to admire the landscapes of Hoang Lien Son Mountain Range and MuongHoa Valley. Check into your accommodation for tonight in Sapa.
Alternative option tour: Visit Silver Waterfall & trekking in the jungle to Love water fall. It takes half-a-day via the highest pass of Vietnam – O Quy Ho. The photo opportunities include O Quy Ho Pass’ Top. Dinner and stay overnight in Sapa.

Day 4Sapa - Lao Chai - Ta Van village (B/L/D)

This morning, start your trekking day by a short transfer to Y Linh Ho trekking point. Moving downhill to the terraced fields and follow small paths, crossing a river on an interesting suspension bridge. Continue on the trek uphill. This is rather challenging when it is wet but definitely offers you spectacular view over the valley. Finish your morning scenic trek at Lao Chai Village. Continue on to trek along paths to Ta Van village, home to the Dzay tribe. This part of the hike is relatively easy, though the trail can be quite slippery if it rains, so good footwear is recommended. You’ll visit with some local families and learn about their daily lifestyle and fascinating culture.

Day 5The village of Giang Ta Chai – Su Pan – Sapa - Hanoi (B/L/-)

After breakfast, enjoy the beauty of the Silver Waterfall and Cloud Bridge. Then trekking through the paths to enjoy wonderful scenery and visit Giang Ta Chai Village, inhabited by ethnic Red Dzao people.
Continue on to trek along wonderful small paths and rice fields and bamboo forests. Passing the rattan bridge and waterfall. Trek further down the Muong Hoa River, you have more opportunities to see ethnic people living here in the Su Pan village. You will take a car from Su Pan village to Hanoi. Overnight in Hanoi.

Day 6Hanoi – Ha Long (B/L/D)

After breakfast, we start Vietnam Experience Tour today by transfer to Halong Bay – designated by UNESCO as a World Heritage site since 1994. Traveling through the scenic fertile Red River Delta countryside, we get to Ha Long Bay by noon. The natural world heritage site Ha Long Bay is truly one of the most impressive scenery that should not be missed if someone ever comes to the north.
Upon arrival at Ha Long, we embark on cruise for an exploration of the legendary Ha Long Bay. This exciting hours cruise passing by the evocatively shaped islets will provide us a fantastic view of the picturesque scenery blending with the sky and some 3,000 limestone islands and islets rising amazingly from the clear and emerald water. Enjoy a Sea food lunch while you cruising through the bay.
Arrival in Van Gia floating fishing village, take rowing boat through the village or kayaking to visiting around the floating fishing village. Visiting Ha Long Pearl Farm Village, and Swimming in the bay.

Day 7Ha Long – Flight to Hue (B/L/-)

Wake up in the morning to the calming sound of the waves crashing on the nearby islands, enjoy Tai Chi lesson on sundeck. Enjoy a cup of coffee in the morning and relax. Sitting on the upper deck, you can enjoy the breath – taking beauty of the rocky Islands rising from the crystal-clear waters of the Bay. The quiet is almost eerie; in summer you can hear birds singing, even that cicadas chirping ashore and the gentle lapping of the waves against our boat, the perfect soundtrack to accompany the fresh air and gentle breeze.
Arrive Sung Sot Cave (Amazing Cave) and joining with guide to visiting and explore the cave.
Our boat start cruising back and brunch buffet will be served on the way. Check out and arrive at the harbor by 11:30. You get back on our car and go back to Hanoi for boarding a flight to Hue. Day 8Hue City Tour (B/L/-)

Have breakfast at the hotel, embark on a traditional boat to cruise along the Perfume River, visit tranquil Thien Mu Pagoda an operating Buddhist monastery and the cultural symbol of Hue. Continue the cruise to explore the tombs of Hue’s former emperors, including the serene pavilions of TuDuc.
Lunch will be served at local restaurant.
In the afternoon, continue to discover Imperial Citadel from where the Nguyen Dynasty ruled between 1802 and 1945 including Flag Tower, Noon Gate, Nine Dynastic Urns, Nine Holy Cannons, Thai Hoa Palace, and Forbidden Purple City. Visit a local family house where they make traditional conical hats, and incenses. We return to the hotel in the late afternoon.

Day 9Hue – Hoi An (B/-/-)

Depart for Danang, approximately a two and a half -hour drive. Then take a short break at Lang Co. Your lunch today will be served at a famous eatery in Danang.
Afternoon, you will explore the Cham Museum in Danang. Then heading to a famous marble mountain village where you can visit a marble stone carving workshop. Afterward, enjoy an one-hour drive to Hoi An.
Check into your hotel and take a rest.

Day 10Hoi An City tour (B/L/-)

Afternoon, start half day city tour with your group of Saigon highlights. This half day tour features the Notre Dame Cathedral church built between 1877 and 1883 and it is one of the best examples of classical French colonial architecture.Another example of French colonial architecture and also the country’s largest post office is the nearby Old Saigon Post Office. We then move on to visit the Reunification Palace one of the most important buildings in the city. Here on April 30th 1975 the ‘American War’ officially ended when tank number 843 of the North Vietnamese Army crashed through the gates of what was, at the time the residence of the President of the Republic of Vietnam. After that, we continue our trip at War Remnants Museum which is formerly known as the Museum of American War Crimes, a poignant display of the uselessness of war. Back to your hotel. Day 12Saigon – Cao Dai Holy Temple & special religious - Cu Chi Tunnel (B/L/-)

Cu Chi tunnels have been known as the “Iron Triangle zone” or “Iron Land”. The network of three level underground tunnels is stretching over 200 km. It was once the former stronghold of Viet Cong guerillas formally known as NLF-National Liberation Force. We will drive through pleasant countryside; rubber plantations and rice paddies.
Before exploring the incredible underground tunnels, we will watch a short introductory video showing how the tunnel system were constructed, followed by an exploration of the maze of tunnels, some of which have been widened to allow tourist access. Also on display are various mantraps and the remains of an American tank which landed here in 1972 as well as numerous bomb craters made by B52 bombers.
After that, we drive back to Ho Chi Minh City for overnight.

Day 13Saigon – My Tho – Ben Tre – Can Tho (B/L/-)
