Upon arrival, meet our driver/tour guide and transfer to hotel. Rest of the day is free at leisure

Today is among our staples and offers the best way to see the beautiful Kuang Si Waterfall. You’ll start your 3-hour trek walking through a lush forest trail. Along the way, you’ll come across stunning mountain landscape vistas while passing through orchards, rice fields, vegetable gardens, and a local Hmong village, giving you the opportunity to get a glimpse into Lao rural life. The hike ends at the stunning turquoise pools of the Kuang Si Waterfall, where you’ll have time to cool down, swim and enjoy the nature reserve there, with a rescue center for moon bears.

Afternoon, transfer back to hotel.

Take 8 hours approximately for transfer from Luang Prabang to Luang Nam Tha. Stop en route for relax and lunch. Upon arrival, free at your leisure. Overnight in Luang Namtha

This excursion today is a pleasant paddling and exploring villages along the banks of the Nam Tha River. Wildlife can be seen while paddling.

The day begins with some basic paddle instruction and equipment familiarization before taking to the river in single or double kayaks. The Nam Tha meanders through changing forest types, inhabited by animals, such as sun bear, tiger and barking deer and a great variety of birds. The border of the Nam Ha Protected Area is reached in the Lanten village of Ban Sope Dute. Various sets of exciting but safe rapids lead up to a lunch break on the riverside.

After a typical Lao picnic, there is time for relaxation and a refreshing swim. The next paddling stretch takes the group to the Khmu village of Ban Sop Sim Noy. We continue until reaching Ban Hat Yawng of Khmu village for the night. Approximately: 20 minutes transfer/ 5 hours kayaking or rafting

Have a breakfast and relax before transfer to Huay Xai. It takes around 4 hours by car with with 180 km. Stop en route at Nam Ha National Biodiversity Conservation Area for short visit. Upon arrival in Huay Xai, check in hotel and free at leisure.

Today, we start a special experience during the tour, one of the best option in Huay Xai. By trying 3 days 2 nights on tree house and zip lines, you will be casting as jungle boy or girl in tropical forest.

– 9 am: departure from the office.
– Around noon: arrival the village. Start the trek a sandwich break.
– Midafternoon: arrival at the tree house after a 2-hours hike.
– 3-5 pm: relaxing time and snacks and/or extra hiking and ziplining.
– 5pm: food is brought to you: dinner time is left up to you.

The rest of the night is yours.

– 6h30 – 7 am: early wake up to seize the chance to hear gibbon singing. Guides will bring you tea and coffee.
– 8 am: breakfast.
– 9 am: optional morning hike and ziplining to visit other tree house to maximize gibbon encounters.
– 12-1 pm: return to your tree house, lunch and relaxing time.
– Around 3pm: optional hiking and ziplining (you can go for short hike on your own).
– 5pm: food is brought to you: dinner time is left up to you. The rest of the night is yours.

– 6h30 – 7 am: early wake up to seize the chance to hear gibbon singing. Guides will bring you tea and coffee.
– 8 am: breakfast.
– 9- 10 am: leave your tree house, depart for a 2-hours hike back to the village.
– 12-1 pm: pick up by car and lunch on the way.
– 3 – 5 pm: (depending on the season): return to Huay Xai center.

Rest of the day is free at leisure. Overnight in Huay Xai.

After breakfast, pick up at the hotel for transfer to the pier. After one-hour cruising along river, stop to visit local ethnic villages. Observe and join in rural local minority life before back to cruise for lunch. Continue cruise trip to reach in Pak Beng. Overnight at Pak Beng lodge.

After breakfast at lodge, continue the cruise trip to Luang Prabang. En route, we stop to visit the hill tribe village of Baw, where you can watch the traditional process of making Lao whiskey. And then back to cruise for lunch on board.

The second stop is Pak Ou Caves before meet Luang Prabang town again.

Day at leisure until to transfer to the airport to take the flight to next destination.
