How to get to Hoi An from Da Nang airport
Get to Hoi An by taxi
As you know, there isn’t Hoi An airport, so after arriving to Da Nang Airport, you have to take another transportation to come to visit Hoi An. Taxi will be one of the best choices for you. Only 30 km from Da Nang, the cost for a taxi from the Airport to Hoi An will be from VND 300,000 to VND 400,000 ($15-20). It would be best to negotiate the fare before going or tell your taxi driver to open the taxi meter.

By bus to Hoi An
Many hotels, hostels or homestays in Hoi An provides bus transfer from Da Nang International Airport to Hoi An Ancient Town, for about $2-3/person. These minivans are often comfortable enough and only carry 6-10 people. Another choice is taking the Sinh Café, the popular bus pass service which makes a stop in Hoi An. The cheapest bus, though, is the city bus which can be found at 33 Dien Bien Phu Street, Thanh Khe District, Danang. This bus runs every hour and costs about $1for one-way ticket. With the lowest price, you have to knowthat the buses are quite old, crowd and slow.

Also known as Xe Om, this is the most common method to get not only in Da Nang but also in Vietnam. A trip from Da Nang to Hoi An by motorbike usually costs VND 150,000 to VND 250,000/each (from $7-12/each), depending on your good negotiation. Or if you want to experience in Hoi An within a day, you can rent a motorbike and ride it yourself. It often costs from VND 100,000 to VND 150,000/day.
