Itinerary

Day 1Arrive in Bangkok

Upon arrival, meet our driver/tour guide and transfer to hotel. Rest of the day is free at leisure

Day 2Bangkok City Tour

After breakfast at hotel, you will meet our driver and guide pick up you transfer to visit The Grand Palace complex was established in 1782 and it consists of not only royal and throne halls, but also a number of government offices as well as the renowned Temple of the Emerald Buddha.

And then visit Wat Phra Kaew – the Temple of the Emerald Buddha, and the adjoining Grand Palace together form the greatest spectacle for the visitor to Bangkok. Despite the fact that the whole compound is so full of tourists you spend half the time trying to avoid getting in people’s photos, it’s still a pretty amazing place to visit.

The Wat Pho or “Temple of the Reclining Buddha” is one of Bangkok’s most attractive temples. It is a much visited temple complex due to its location immediately South of the Grand Palace and the huge Reclining Buddha image it houses. After that a walk in Chinatown which is considered the busiest area in Bangkok and known by various specialties from countries in the region. The dishes are prepared only with the freshest ingredients of the day.

Then boarding a long-tail boat for a trip along the Chao Phraya River and many lively inner canals of Thonburi bank offering fantastic views of the local life nearby. You will have the opportunity to snack, buy trinkets or to use the toilet at stops along the way. Along the way, we stop at Wat Arun, the Temple of Dawn, we will visit the Wat Traimit which is well known as the Golden Buddha. Return to the hotel for free time.

Day 3Bangkok – Ayuttaya – Bangkok

After breakfast you meet our guide drive to Ayuttaya. Less than an hours drive North of Bangkok and just a few kilometers from Ayutthaya lies the Bang Pa-In Summer Palace. The original Palace was built by King Prasat Thong of Ayutthaya in the first half of the 17th century. When Ayutthaya was invaded and destroyed by the Burmese in 1767, Bang Pa-In Palace was left abandoned for almost a century.

Then a tour by tuk tuk “Kermit” you discover the magnificent ruins of ancient temples in the historical park: Wat Phra Sri Sanphet, one of the most photographed temples of Ayutthaya and Wat Phra Mahathat, Wat Mongkhon Bophitand, Wat Ratburana, they are all beautiful. Then, we will stop at Wat Yai Chaimongkhol, one of the largest reclining Buddha image and the ruins of the great Royal Palace & Temples. In late afternoon return back to hotel in Bangkok. Free on your own.

Day 4Bangkok - Kanchanaburi - Elephant Ride

Breakfast at hotel meet our guide pick up and then drive to Kanchanburi.

Take a short ride on the original Death Railways passing over a very long wooden viaduct among sheer cliffs. Then will be at the city’s POW war cemetery, followed by the Thailand and Burma Railway Center, a great little museum providing information for those interested in the building of this railway line and the history behind what perspired here during the second world war.

Then go to see the famous Bridge Over The River Kwai, the most important landmark of this city. Continue to Elephant Camp (near Wang Po). Followed by a 30 minutes of elephant riding and 40 minutes on Bamboo Rafting along the Kwai Noi River before return to your hotel in Bangkok. Next, the famous Hellfire Pass where you will walk through the railway cutting and see shrines and tributes to those who lost their lives building the railway.

Day 6Bangkok departure

Day at leisure until to transfer to the airport to take the flight back to your next destination.
